Arttober Challenge day 8 - Zero Two from Darling in the Franxx anime. Zero is the deuteragonist of Darling In The Franxx behind Hiro. She is a hybrid girl and an elite pilot with a carefree attitude and a longing to be human. She shows an affectionate side when partnered with Hiro and they develop this connection over the series.

Trying to capture a mode between playful and carefree I looked at this as if she was leaning back on her Franxx unit (Mecha units in the series). I approached day 8's challenge the same way I had done day 7, but this time instead of working on values on the skin I intended to go straight to colour. This image has been fun and looking forward to finishing this.

Day 9's challenge is a bit different as it is a landscape image that a friend of mine did in AI. He wanted to see how close I can get a speed painting done to compare to it.... AI to me has always been a concept tool and should be used as such. So I have no issues with adding something like this to my list. Though 4 hours to speed paint a landscape....interesting :)
